Virtue Ventures is obsessed with developing methodology and creating technical resources that advance the practice of social enterprise and innovation.  Our work has produced some seminal and first-in-category resources that have become essential reading in the social entrepreneurship field.

We use a bottom up practice-to-theory approach to create methodology and resources. We first prototype new resources, tools, or methodology, then test them in social enterprise to address real life challenges and needs. Based on their efficacy, we refine or adapt our resources, and refine them in an iterative cycle until we have "good practice" final products.

We are committed to disseminating our resources free of charge to the extent possible. Much of our work is licensed under creative commons, giving people the opportunity to adapt resources to their own realities.  We see resource and methodology development as a team effort and invite collaboration and input.
